About Myself
I joined ELE specifically to offer English language learning assistance in exchange for Spanish language learning. I have a Master's in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and I currently teach ESL. I find language and culture intriguing. Learning Spanish has always been a passion of mine. I can read decently in Spanish and also write some but have had little to no opportunity to converse. Although I watch/listen to TV in Spanish, listen to Spanish music (many different genres) and read, reading, writing and listening to music solely, are insufficient in propelling verbal communication. All four domains of language support each other. I know I need opportunities to be an active participant in speaking and listening. I also hope to teach English abroad in a Spanish-speaking country.
