What does hand over mean?
For example: Hand over your signature right here.

Hand over means “give” It is a phrasal expression and is colloquial. When I think of this expression I imagine two contexts:

  1. theives robbing a bank “HAND OVER THE CASH AND NO ONE GETS HURT”  
  2. when you want something that someone doesn’t want you to see, an embarrassing photo for example. “Come on, hand it over”
