Hi guys. I have confused in using a sentence ” Me and my family live in …” Why should not say “I and my family live in …” ?

when you are subject, use ” I “:I travel to Egypt every year(when you do this action),and you can use ” me ” when you are object (the action was done with you) for Example :My sister gave me a gift on my birthday

Yes, when YOU are A subject or any PROPER noun and HE, SHE, THEY are the subject, you can use ‘I”, in case of OBJECTIVE PRONOUNS like him, her, them you can use ME. Ex: She and I are going for a tea. Mr. Smith (HE) spend a day with ME.
