I work in a children’s educational organization. At the moment I am responsible for preparing a New Year party for primary school kids, but it must include some New Year (not Christmas) BRITISH traditions! (Other people in our team are responsible for other countries traditions, so I must do my part of work). I’m looking for British people ready to share this information. Is there some traditional fairy tale for children where some evil character tries to steal the New Year, but, after a series of adventures, everything is alright at the end? Please, tell me about it!
